Not like those I heard in jazz musics, it is actually extremely LOUD! So folks, don’t get fooled by smooth jazz, those are softened music!

You can’t puff small, puff big! Blowing a saxophone like a flute, you’ll just hear “weewee” sound.
(Sound of your own breath, and you feel extremely stupid, especially in front of others!)

So, yeah, practice, practice and practice!
